The R726 is a 12.5" convertible housed in a magnesium-aluminum chassis with an integrated kickstand. The touch screen is a 1920x1080 PLS unit with maximum brightness of 400 cd/m². Buyers get a choice of two Skylake CPUs: a dual-core, four-thread Core i3-6100U clocked at 2.3Ghz, or its similar Core i5-6200U cousin, which has clock speeds ranging from 2.3 GHz to 2.8 GHz. The CPU is paired with 4 GB of RAM. Storage duties are handled by an OPAL-capable M.2 SATA SSD with capacity up to 512GB. A microSD slot is present, too, accepting cards up to 128GB.
The R726 talks to the outside world with a 802.11ac Wi-Fi adapter with like Fujitsu FMV-AC314 AC Adapter, Fujitsu FMV-AC304B AC Adapter, Fujitsu FPCAC45 AC Adapter, Fujitsu Amilo A6600 AC Adapter, Fujitsu Amilo D8820 AC Adapter, Fujitsu Amilo L7320 AC Adapter, Fujitsu Amilo V8210 AC Adapter, Fujitsu Celcius H240 AC Adapter, Fujitsu FMV-C6210 AC Adapter, Fujitsu FMV-NB80M AC Adapter, Fujitsu LifeBook 8020 AC Adapter, Fujitsu LifeBook A1010 AC Adapterand a Gigabit Ethernet port. Those with special connectivity requirements can take advantage of the optional cellular data and NFC modules. A USB 3.0 port and a Mini DisplayPort round out the base specs. Extra options for the R726 include a stylus and a docking station which provides extra USB, Ethernet, and HDMI ports.
Fujitsu says the convertible's battery should last an impressive 12 hours. The tablet measures 12.6" x 7.9" x 0.4" (or 319 x 201 x 9.5 mm) and weighs 1.74 lbs (789 g). Availability is set for February 2016.

Or they add extra weight into the keyboard so it kinda sorta stays up without one(kinda). If asus were to make a netbook today it would be 500g and have 16hrs of battery life but instead we just get these over and over. wtfbbq....wtfbbq indeed.
